Well I was thrilled today when I woke up and saw the blue sky! So I decided to blow off the gym and go for a run instead. I had a quick bowl of Vogels Ultra Bran, half of a huge granny smith and a cup of Rooibos and about half an hour later headed off. It was great! I did a 5 minute warm up walk, 35 minute run and then a 5 minute cool down walk. The route that I go is about 6km (that is a rough estimate from google maps). I don’t have a footpod for my Polar unfortunately.

When I got home I was pretty starving so I nuked a Kale and Feta Muffin. These are good but I need to refine the recipe before I post it. They are a little too dense and not as fluffy as I like muffins to be. Also they worked out at 275 calories each which is a little higher than I like for a morning tea snack. I also had a cup of green tea.

Well I have a million things to do today so I better get to it! I will probably just have some reheated Pumpkin Soup for lunch or something while we are out. I am making a spesh dinner tonight so stay tuned! Bronte has gone for a dog wash – he so needed it!
